A Child in Each Arm
AMSTERDAM, Monday, June 3.
The Armenian Relief Committee at Jerusalem, in a report on the arrival of 1,600 Armenians rescued by the British at Es Salt, says:—
"It is impossible to recall the assistance rendered by the British during the journey to Jerusalem without being moved to tears. The cavalry helped them when crossing the rivers by carrying a child in each arm and holding the reins between their teeth."—Reuter.
